Amex is an importer and distributor of office and school supplies, present in the European market since 1982. Amex’s offer includes almost 6,000 different items, and the company serves almost 3,000 regular customers through various distribution channels: e-commerce, wholesalers, foreign markets, purchasing groups, office services, and retail chains.
Need/Challenge
The initial business need of Amex was to improve logistics and reduce the costs of logistics processes in order to increase the operating margin. A decision was also made to replace the existing WMS system, which did not keep up with the company’s development needs. After the implementation, the Agilero WMS system was repeatedly extended to include new functionalities, and adapted to the changing business profile of the company – primarily due to the development of own production and the launch of new sales channels.
