Client
The DBK Group is the largest supplier of products and services for the TSL industry in Poland, providing comprehensive service for truck fleets. The group consists of 13 companies related by capital, employing a total of over 1,400 people. The group manages the largest service and sales network in Poland – the DBK Truck Center, which consists of 24 branches and 7 partner points. The DBK Group generates annual sales revenues of PLN 2 billion.
Need/Challenge
DBK has decided to unify and standardize warehouse logistics across the Group. Due to the varying procedures in individual companies, the Group needed to define a common standard for warehouse processes and adapt them to the changing details of the business. The Client did not require a functionally developed WMS-class system, but only a solution supplementing ERP with mobile handling of documents and warehouse processes.
In the next stage, the Client expected support in the implementation of a warehouse system adapted to the new, unified process standards of the Group. At the same time, as required by the DBK Group, the implementation of the system in subsequent warehouses should be carried out by the Group’s IT team.
Implementation at the Client’s company
Optimal Processes Design
- defining the target course of warehouse processes for the entire Group, to be implemented in the warehouse system
- defining the scope and specification of the requirements for the integration of the Agilero WES warehouse system with the Incadea system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
Agilero WES system
Development of the Agilero WES system – increasing automation and control over existing warehouse processes.
Post-implementation care (service and support), assistance in launching the system in subsequent locations.
